WILMINGTON, MA — 67 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Here are EIGHT highlights:
- A resident called to report a white 2006 Chrysler SE 300 driving slowly up and down Quail Run. Caller thought the male driver might be looking for unattended packages at homes in the neighborhood. (1:20am)
- A delivery truck hit a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Suppliers Auto Parts on Middlesex Avenue. (9:08am)
- Anthony Marquez (26, Tewksbury) was issued a summons for leaving the scene of personal injury and a crosswalk violation on Middlesex Avenue. Marquez allegedly did not stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk, who was also struck by his vehicle’s mirror. (10:08am)
- Billerica Animal Control, who is temporarily serving Wilmington, conducted a cattle inspection at Krochmal Farm. While the farm is mostly in Tewksbury, the cattle is actually housed inside the Wilmington line. (10:56am)
- Police advised a man who was soliciting for a window and siding company on Parker Street. The man stopped for the day. (2:58pm)
- North Intermediate School Principal wanted it logged that she spoke to unknown male that was photographing children at dismissal time (2:30pm-2:45pm). Male did not speak English well. He left on foot towards 125. Principal noted this wasn’t the first time she saw the male on school grounds. Principal will call next time school staff sees him. (3:20pm)
- Bus driver with kids rom the Shawsheen School reported vehicles were not stopping when the STOP sign is out while on Lt. Buck Drive. (3:26pm)
