POLICE LOG from December 15: 2 Summons Issued; Car Crashes; Knife In Road

WILMINGTON, MA  — 70 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, December 15, 2015.  Here are NINE highlights:

  • A white 2000 Toyota Rav4, a gray 2006  Toyota Tacoma and a brown 2002 Ford Explorer were involved in a crash near the Corner Store on Shawsheen Avenue. At least one airbag deployed. At least one vehicle was towed. No injuries noted. (6:43am)
  • A Swain Road caller requested information on how to get a skunk out from under her shed. (9:13am)
  • A red 2011 Honda Fit Sport and a black 2004 Ford Taurus were involved in a crash on Main Street. One vehicle was towed. One driver was issued a citation for a red light violation. No injuries noted. (9:48am)
  • The Shawsheen Elementary School conducted a fire drill. (10:04am)
  • David A. Moscrip (50, North Reading) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. (10:47am)
  • A caller reported a large knife in the middle of the roadway at Eames Street near the Pepsi Cola plant. Police were unable to locate. (11:00am)
  • Police were flagged down by a teacher at the North Intermediate who locked her keys in her vehicle. Police rendered services. (4:17pm)
  • Police responded to an employee/customer dispute regarding pricing at Firestone on Main Street. Issue was revolved. (7:01pm)
  • Jason Feeley (26, Waltham) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and having an unregistered motor vehicle. (9:14pm)
