POLICE LOG from December 14: 2 Dead Deer, Bruins False Alarm, Woman Arrested

WILMINGTON, MA  — 73 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, December 14, 2015.  Here are NINE highlights:

  • Burglar alarm in the Boston Bruins locker room at Ristuccia Arena was accidentally triggered by a trainer. (6:17am)
  • A prior minor motor vehicle crash between a gray 2002 Pontiac Bonneville and a red 2008 GMC Acadia at old Shawsheen and Richmond Street from 7:25am was reported. (8:21am)
  • A black 2014 Honda CRV struck and killed a deer on Salem Street. Police notified DPW. (10:07am)
  • A Boutwell Street caller reported an IRS scam call. (10:27am)
  • A caller reported a dead deer was seen on the side of the road at Evans Drive and Draper Drive. Caller was concerned deer was shot by a hunter. Police believed animal may have died of natural causes. (10:39am)
  • Camila Gomes (30, Everett) was arrested on traffic warrants. (11:43am)
  • Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at the West Intermediate. (There was no fire.) (12:02am)
  • A parked vehicle and mailbox were struck on Ashwood Avenue. (3:01pm)
  • K9 Ridic was involved in training at the Wilmington DPW Headquarters on Andover Street. (6:06pm)
