Networkers Group: Lemonade *RR
Monday, December 28, 10 am
What do people who were once paid to be creative for a living do when they are laid off? They get creative with their own lives. Lemonade is an inspirational film about 16 advertising professionals who lost their jobs and found their calling. A discussion will follow the 36 minute film.
Writing Group*RR
Saturday, January 2, 9:15 am-11:15 am
If you love to write and would like feedback on your writing, come to the library’s writing group. Please bring up to five pages of written work to the meeting. Open to all genres and levels. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.

Adult Coloring Group
Monday, January 4, 7 pm
Join in on the latest craze with our Adult Coloring Group. The group meets the first Monday of the month. No need to register, just drop in. Bring your own coloring books and pencils, or use ours.
Cookin’ the Books *RR
January 5, 12 pm – 1 pm
Featured Cookbook: Spices of Life by Nina Simonds
If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this book group is for you. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the featured cookbook, select a recipe and email your selection to book club leader Lisa Crispin (lcrispin@mvlc.org). Come to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes and enjoy the company!

Gingerbread Houses *RR
Monday, December 21, 3:45 or 7 pm
It’s a tradition here at our library to ring in the holidays by making an edible winter cottage. Construct a gingerbread house out of graham crackers then decorate it with gumdrops and candy and chocolate and more! All ages
All You Can Read Buffet *RR
Monday, December 28, 1-5 pm
This popular event is back! Come to this marathon read and eat-in. Bring something comfortable to lounge upon, and read away. Munch on yummy snacks, enjoy a hot chocolate topping bar, and finish with a pizza party. Grades 4-8
PJ Storytime
Monday, December 28 6:30 pm
Wear your snuggly pajamas and bring your favorite teddy bear or blanket and enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and more! Ages: 2-5 and one or more adults.
Toddler Sing-Along with Ed Morgan *RR
Tuesday, December 29, 10 am
Come sing and dance with “The Music Man!” For over 10 years Ed Morgan has delighted kids and grown-ups alike with his interactive blend of original and traditional children’s songs. Ages 2-5
Mario Kart Tournament
Tuesday, December 29, 2-4 pm
Calling all gamers! Duke it out for the title of Mario Kart Master and enjoy treats from the Rainbow Road candy bar. Stick around after the race to make a Mario Kart keychain. Grades 4+
Galley Group *RR

Want to discover the next big thing in YA lit? Galley Group is for you! Hang out with other teen fiction aficionados and read books before they’re published. Snacks provided. Grades 6-12
Noon Year’s Eve *RR

Celebrate New Year’s a little early! We’ll make party hats, and noise makers, have some fun snacks and make some noise as we watch the ball drop as we count down until noon. Grades Kindergarten-5
