Mary Rose Lunetta (Cavaretta), age 86, of Wilmington, died peacefully on December 16, 2015. Mary was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Lunetta, devoted mother of Linda Bandoni & her husband Jack of Gloucester, Joseph Lunetta & his wife Cathy of Derry, NH, and Richard Lunetta & his wife Shirley of Burlington. Loving “Grandma” of Kristina Bandoni, Sally Lunetta, Richard Lunetta, Joseph Lunetta, Ryan Menize, and Jesse Menize. Cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Rose (Amata) Cavaretta, dear sister of the late Frank Cavaretta and Antonina Karedes. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Saturday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 18th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
