WILMINGTON GIVES: Wilmington Youth Center Seeks Video Game Donations

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Youth Center is seeking video game donations to refresh and expand its collection.

The Center is looking for games compatible with Game Cube, Playstation 3, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and XBox 360.

Games should be AGE APPROPRIATE for 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

About The Wilmington Youth Center

6th, 7th and 8th graders living in Wilmington are invited to join the Wilmington Youth Center to enjoy being part of a community that offers a safe place to hang out with your friends and have fun!

The Wilmington Youth Center, located inside Villanova Hall (126 Middlesex Avenue), is open every Saturday night, 7pm to 9:30pm, from November 21, 2015 to March 5, 2016.

Registration costs $40 per child or $80 per family.  Registration Night will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 6pm to 8pm. Students must be accompanied by a parent in order to register.  Registrations will also be accepted on Saturday nights during the season.

The Wilmington Youth Center offers a variety of activities, including:

  • Board Games
  • Jukebox
  • Foosball
  • Ping Pong
  • Billiards
  • Pinball
  • Video Arcade Room
  • Video Games (Game Cube, Playstation II, Dance-Dance Revolution, Wii, X-Box Kinect)

During the season, the Wilmington Youth Soccer sponsors several activities, including:

  • Dances with DJs
  • Craft Nights
  • Whiffle Ball Games

Snack items, including pizza, candy and beverages, are available for purchase each week.

A member’s parent is required to chaperon for a minimum of two Saturday nights.
