POLICE LOG from December 7: Wilmington Woman Arrested For 3rd OUI; Cars Entered Overnight

WILMINGTON, MA  — 64 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, December 7, 2015.  Here are TEN highlights:

  • Three unlocked vehicles on Avalon Drive was entered overnight. Nothing appeared to be taken. (7:44am, 12:38pm, 12:43pm)
  • The Swain Court street sign was reported missing. (12:45pm)
  • An Aldrich Road caller reported that she received a call last night around midnight from a party claiming to be from “Tony’s Pizza.” Party was looking for credit card information. Caller recognized it was a scam and wanted it logged. (1:40pm)
  • A Chestnut Street caller reported someone other than herself picked up her prescription on November 29 at CVS Pharmacy in Wilmington. (3:29pm)
  • A High Street caller reported 2 youths were throwing rocks at his residence. (4:18pm)
  • A gray 2009 Toyota Yaris and a blue 2005 Ford Escape was involved in a crash on Main Street. Fire Department responded for a minor injury. (4:34pm)
  • 2 juveniles were reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (4:39pm)
  • A caller reported her daughter stole her car and debit card approximately 30 minutes ago and may be intoxicated. Police stopped the vehicle at Sunrise Market and arrested the driver. Amanda L. Provitola (30, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor (3rd offense); Failure To Stop; Marked Lanes Violations; and Operating Without An Ignition Interlock.  Police returned stolen items to father. (5:08pm)
  • An Avalon Drive caller reported suspicious behavior, with youths looking into vehicles. Youths were gone by the time police arrived. (8:01pm)
  • A Mill Road caller reported 3 packages were taken from her house last week (2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday). Caller wanted in the incident logged. (8:15pm)
