Practical Tips for Speaking in Public *RR

Presenter Mike Chase recently was honored with first place at the Toastmasters District 31 conference for Table Topics—a brief on-the-spot speech given with no advance preparation. If making introductions and networking are difficult, then come learn how to overcome your fears and speak better in public.
Movie Night Ant Man *RR

This month’s feature film presentation is Ant Man starring Paul Rudd. Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Holiday Songs in Film *RR
December 17, 2:30 pm
Dan Tremblay of Heritage films will present a varied mix of film clips in a documentary style to showcase holiday songs from England, the U.S. Army Band, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and more.

Holiday Shopping at the Book Store Next Door
Holiday books are now half price at the he Book Store Next Door ! Gift certificates can also be purchased for your favorite teacher. They also make great stocking stuffers. Shop on Wednesday, December 16 and Saturday December 19 from 10 am to 4 pm. The Book Store will be closed on Wednesday December 23 and Saturday December 26.
