WILMINGTON GIVES: ‘Wilmington Supports Recovery’ Creates GoFundMePage

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Supports Recovery recently created a GoFundMe Page to raise funds to create gift bags for local addicts in recovery.

The gift bags, which cost $5.05 to put together, would include socks, gloves, razor, chap stick, deodorant, address book, pen and the bag itself.

Wilmington Girl Scouts will package the gift bags and include a hand-written card in each.

The group, which hopes to raise $1,500, has taken in $416 to date.

About Wilmington Supports Recovery

Wilmington Supports Recovery is an organization collecting supplies to donate to recovering addicts and alcoholics in local treatment centers this holiday season. The full list of supplies includes toiletries, clothing, and craft supplies, but every single patient or resident could use a few basic necessities. Some facilities can’t accommodate visitors, and we want those patients and residents to know, on Christmas morning, that people are thinking about them and supporting them.
