Dear Editor,
We’re One Wilmington (WOW) would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to the Wilmington community for their overwhelming support of our 5th Annual Festival of Trees! We are in awe each year of the number of donations and the creativity with which they are decorated! We had 112 donors/groups, nearly 100 volunteers, and dozens of singers and musicians who donated their time, energy and talent to create a truly magical weekend! Through the generosity of our visitors not only was WOW able to top last year’s fundraising totals, but also help boost the success of other local non-profits and individuals who were fundraising at the event. The positive energy and giving nature of the citizens of Wilmington was never more evident than it was this weekend. Congratulations to all the winners and a HUGE THANK YOU to all who made it a success!

The Festival of Trees has quickly become my favorite town event. I look forward to seeing the generosity and creative ideas of town residents. Festival of Trees has an old-fashioned hometown feeling yet it appeals to young and old alike. Great job by WOW!
