POLICE LOG from November 29: Ever Wonder What Would Happen If You Don’t Pay For Your Gas?

WILMINGTON, MA  — 39 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Sunday, November 29, 2015.  Here are TEN highlights:

  • An employee from Speedway at Main Street reported a car drove away without paying for gas valued at $14.55.  Police spoke with driver at his residence, who was unaware he did not pay for the gas and will return to the station to resolve. (10:58am)
  • Police received reports of dirtbikes going up and down Border Avenue. Police responded — no dirtbikes found in the area. Police believe dirtbikes went into Woburn. (1:04pm)
  • A Concord Street caller reported finding a screw in the tire of his rental car. He believed it to be his neighbor, who he’s having ongoing issues with. (1:06pm)
  • A child playing with a phone on Aldrich Road called 911. (1:55pm)
  • A gray 2012 Subaru and a black 2013 Honda Civic was involved in a minor crash at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. (2:12pm)
  • Kevin G. Petersen (53, Winthrop) was arrested. (3:19pm)
  • Man reported a lost brown wallet with appropriately $100 in it and a license at Shriners Auditorium (4:48pm)
  • Police retrieved a firearm from a Marion Street home that a caller found while cleaning out the residence. (4:49pm)
  • Police received a report of a black 2011 Chrysler SE 200 striking a curb on Andover Street and hitting other things. Police spoke with operator, who is having mechanical issues and has AAA enroute. Police advised driver to contact State Police to report an incident she was just involved in on the highway. (7:38pm)
  • Ryan O’Rourke (22, Wilmington) was placed in protective custody. (11:02pm)
