Wilmington students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 will be participating in a one-hour introduction class to computer science while at school next week. The class is designed to demystify “code” and show that anyone can learn the basics to be a maker, a creator, and an innovator.
These students are then encouraged to attend this evening activity, along with their parents, to learn even more about the importance of coding. Student-parent teams can bring their own devices, use devices provided by the district, or choose an offline coding activity. (See examples of coding activities HERE.)
