WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Bantam 1’s won The Showcase Series at the Cyclones Arena In Hudson, NH over Thanksgiving. The Wildcats reigned supreme, in a highly competitive tournament of hockey games.
In the finals, the Wildcats matched against the talented Red Rangers 01 Elite team. The Wildcats clamped down the offense of The Rangers with a great team defensive effort to win the game 1-0.
On the way to the finals, the Wildcats twice took down the Northern Cyclones by the scores of 2-0 and 3-2. The Wildcats and Rangers’ first matchup ended in a shootout loss after a 3-3 regulation tie.
The weekend proved a great test as the Cats took on some the best competition in Bantam hockey and prevailed as the best.
