Stella Toto (Lapenna), age 94, of Wilmington, died peacefully on November 26, 2015. Stella was the beloved wife of the late Domenic H. Toto, devoted mother of Joseph M. Toto and Michael Toto & his wife Donna all of Wilmington. Loving “Mimi” of Michelle Toto of Nashua, NH, Joseph M. Toto, Jr. & his wife Susan of East Yarmouth, Rebecca Caples of Wilmington, Stephen Barresi & his wife Daniela of Watertown, David Barresi & his wife Renay of Wilmington. “Great-Mimi” of Domenic, David, and Stella Caples, Katy, Domenic, and Sarah Toto, Ava and Mia Barresi, Stefano and Bianca Barresi. Dear daughter of the late Michael and Mary Lapenna, sister of the late Sara Lauretano, Anthony, Joseph, and Charlie Lapenna. Stella is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, November 30th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers donations in Stella’s memory may be made to Woodbriar of Wilmington, Patient Fund, 90 West Street, Wilmington, MA 01887.
