Junior Basketball
Grades: 1 & 2
Registration Deadline: Thursday, November 12
Program Dates: Saturdays, January 2 – February 6, 6 Weeks
Location: Shawsheen Elementary School Gymnasium
Cost: $37
This instructional co-ed league introduces the basics. Teams play a staggered schedule of hourly sessions that include skill training followed by a scrimmage. Late registrations are accepted based on availability; late registrants pay a $10 late fee.
Beauty and the Beast Theatre Trip (Last day to reserve this trip: November 30)
Opera House, Thursday, January 7, 7:30 p.m. show, $78
This classic musical love story is filled with unforgettable characters, lavish sets and costumes, and dazzling production numbers. From “Be Our Guest” to the beloved title song, enjoy this eye-popping spectacle that has won the hearts of people worldwide. This trip includes bus transportation and orchestra seat.
“In the Holiday Mood” Day Trip
Thursday, December 10, $85
This festive trip begins with appetizers and luncheon at Chez Josef in Agawam, followed by Eight to the Bar. Drawing its musical influences from Swing, Boogie-Woogie, Rhythm & Blues, Soul and Motown, they are known for outstanding instrumentalists and vocal arrangements. On the way home, we will drive through the Bright Nights Christmas Display in Springfield. You are sure to be “in the holiday mood” at the end of the day!
