OBITUARY: Blanche M. Bagdanowicz, 94

Blanche M. Bagdanowicz, 94, died peacefully on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Michael Bagdanowicz, with whom she shared many loving years of marriage until his passing in 1977.

Born in Lowell on January 17, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline (Szymczk) Gorski. Blanche was educated in the Lowell school system, and was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1939.

Prior to her retirement, Blanche worked at the MIT Lincoln Lab for 15 years. She also worked as a Secretary at Afco in Wilmington for 10 years.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her goddaughter and niece Patricia Onanian and her husband John of Dracut, as well as several other nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Paula Clarke; and her beloved dog and longtime companion, Tag.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on WEDNESDAY, November 25th from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Burial will directly follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell.
