WILMINGTON, MA — Learn to Play Hockey is an eight-week program for young skaters, ages 4 to 9 years old, that have never played organized hockey. These skaters must have some experience skating, including being able to stay on their feet. This is not a learn to skate program although basic skills will be used.
The eight-session program begins on December 5 at Ristuccia Arena and runs every Saturday morning, from 7am to 7:50pm, until January 23. The program costs $120.

Full hockey equipment is required for all participants. Certified hockey helmt with cage, Hockey gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, skates, and stick are all required. Hockey pants are not required, but are strongly suggested.
Rental equipment is available for new Learn to Play participants. The rental fee is $20, whicn includes helmet, pants, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow pads and shin pads — all equipment comes complete in a hockey bag. Equipment not returned will result in a $50 charge.
