POLICE LOG from November 14: Billerica Man Arrested, Driving 90 MPH on 38; Bobcat Sighting

WILMINGTON, MA  — 60 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, November 14, 2015.  Here are NINE highlights:

  • Two missing children were reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (12:21am, 12:22am)
  • A caller reported a manhole is exposed in the road at Mass Avenue and Main Street. Police contacted the Water Department. (8:00am)
  • Owner of Pimental Construction on Andover Street reported damage to his mailboxes. (11:39am)
  • A Sherburn Place resident wanted it logged that he saw a bobcat roaming in his yard. (12:09pm)
  • A Salem Street caller reported his female neighbor was coming up to his property line and yelling obscenities at him. Police restored the peace. (2:41pm)
  • Police attempted to stop an older model white pick-up truck traveling approximately 90 miles per hour southbound on Main Street toward Woburn. Police notified the Woburn Police. (4:52pm, continued)
  • An employee from Salvation Army reported a man just entered the store, put on a bunch of clothing, and left in a white pickup truck at a high rate of speed. Employee relayed license plate information, allowing police to identify suspect. Wilmington Police located suspect on foot in Woburn near the Alta Vista School. Woburn Police located suspect’s vehicle at apartment complext on 1001  Main Street in Woburn. Jonathan Dubord (25, Billerica) was arrested for shoplifting by asporation; warrants; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense); failure to stop for police; speeding; marked lane violations; and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. (5:00pm)
  • Carmel Street sign was reported missing at the corner of Carmel Street and Broad Street. Police contacted DPW. (8:02pm)
  • Reports of a small white sedan and small black sedan were doing donuts in the Market Basket parking lot. Vehicles were gone when police arrived. (9:54pm)
