UPDATE: 1 In Custody, Wilmington Police Searching For 2nd Suspect

WILMINGTON, MA — 2 men fled from a vehicle after being stopped near the Wilmington Plaza on Main Street around 8pm tonight.

As of midnight, one suspect (the driver) was apprehend in the vicinity of 1 Pine Avenue, off of Main Street, near AAA Tire and The Country Chef. The suspect suffered a dog bite. The other suspect (the passenger) remains at large.

There is an active search, with the use of Police K-9 units and Massachusetts State Police Air Wing, for two male parties who fled the area.

Call 911 immediately to report any suspicious person(s) you may see in this area behind Main St (Ristuccia Ice Rink/Wilmington Plaza) and Glen Rd area streets.
