WILMINGTON, MA — 49 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Here are NINE highlights:
- A green 2000 Toyota Tundra and a gray 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer were involved in a minor car accident at the Shell Gas Station on Main Street. (5:46am)
- A black 2014 Ram Truck and a black 1997 Toyota Camry were involved in an accident. Caller reported his girlfriend backed out of his driveway and struck a neighbor’s car. (10:16am)
- Caller from the Office Paper Recovery Systems on Andover Street stated two ATVs drove onto his property and damaged his fence. Owner will make a copy of the security footage. (1:25pm)
- A caller found a syringe in the mulch between Rite Aid and McDonald’s on Main Street. Police retrieved for destruction. (1:47pm)
- Police flagged down by two Market Basket customers regarding another customer waiting MBTA’s “The Ride” for approximately 2 hours. Arrangements were eventually made to have a family member pick up. (6:43pm)
- A woman stated she was being followed by a man, who she knows, in a white pickup truck who is trying to run her off the road. Police located the pickup truck and its driver. Due to the age of the driver, a statement form was left for the driver and his parent. (8:52pm)
- A Mill Road resident reported youths going in and out of the woods in a white sedan. Vehicle was gone upon arrival. Police spoke further with resident, who said youths usually arrive around 3:15pm, typically on Fridays, and hang out in the open conservation area, leaving trash everywhere. (9:01pm)
- Owner of a black 2015 Kia Sorento reported their car was keyed while parked in the 99 Restaurant’s lot for an hour. (9:30pm)
- Police located a missing juvenile from the Worcester State Hospital. Juvenile was brought to the UMass Medical Center in Worcester for evaluation. (11:06pm)
