POLICE LOG from November 9: “Money Is Evil” Spray Painted On ATM; Company Truck Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA  — 57 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, November 9, 2015.  Here are EIGHT highlights:

  • Police noted graffiti was spray painted on the door of the Bank of America ATM on Lowell Street. It read: “Money is evil.” (1:00am)
  • A Hubbard-Hall employee reported one of the company’s trucks were stolen from its Progress Way location sometime after 4:00pm on Friday. (7:13am)
  • A blue 2000 Ford Explorer and a white 2015 Subaru Outback were involved in a car crash on Richmond Street. No injuries reported. (7:31am)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported his mailbox was damaged overnight. (9:48am)
  • A Carolyn Road caller reported her mailbox was broken and placed in her driveway, along with dog feces. (10:41am)
  • A walk-in party reported a red 2002 Ford Thunder came at her and revved its engine, causing her to jump off of the pavement and onto the grass. (4:33pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported a group of kids on scooters were in front of Panera Bread. Caller stated she almost struck one of the them as he raced out in front of her. Police spoke with two of the scooter riders and advised them. Police also contacted the WMS School Resource Officer. (5:44pm)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported someone entered her home between 2:15am and 6:15am this morning. Random items appeared to be taken. (6:14pm) Police later checked the residence and there did not seem to be any forced entry. Nothing seemed out of place. (9:31pm)
