WILMINGTON, MA — A private visit from Santa Claus is just one of the dozens of items offered at the Wilmington Rotary Club’s annual auction. This year’s auction will be held on Friday, November 20th at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The items will be available for viewing at 6:30pm with the auction beginning at 7pm. There is no charge to attend. A free buffet will be available with a cash bar.
Other items to be auctioned that evening include:
- Handmade personalized Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy Dolls
- The opportunity to throw out the first pitch at a Lowell Spinners game
- A Jackie Bradley Jr. autographed baseball
- A pair of Adirondack Wooden chairs
- Neon Bar signs
- Personal tours of the State House
- The opportunity for your child to ride to their school on a fire engine or police cruiser
- Tickets to Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins games
Among the auctioneers are Jonathan Eaton, Ken Vassallo, Harry Cunningham, and maybe a few mystery auctioneers. All promise an evening of food, laughs, and terrific bargains. All proceeds from the auction help fund the Rotary Clubs scholarship.
A highlight of the evening is the drawing of the winners in the Annual $10,000 Raffle. The winner will receive $10,000, plus additional winners will receive $1,000, two $500 prizes, and four $250 prizes.
