POLICE LOG from November 2: Smashing Pumpkins; Road Rage at RMV; Dogs Left In Car

WILMINGTON, MA  — 72 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, November 2, 2015.  Here are FOURTEEN highlights:

  • Employee of Milestone called to attempt to cancel 2 missing juveniles, however there was no record that the individuals were missing. (7:24am)
  • A black 2004 Doge Charger and a gray 2003 Honda CRV were involved in a car crash on Main Street. No injuries reported. (8:05am)
  • A walk-in party turned in shotgun shells for destruction. (9:18am)
  • An Eleanor Drive resident reported pumpkins were taken from the front of their house. (12:17pm)
  • Management at Regency Place on Horseshoe Lane had two vehicles towed. (1:27pm)
  • A Birchwood Road caller reported a man pulled into her driveway and when she confronted him, he became belligerent towards her. He was last seen headed towards Judith Road. Police located the vehicle at the Registry of Motor Vehicles and spoke with the operator. (1:28pm)
  • Caller reported a vehicle in a parking lot on Upton Drive had 2 dogs inside with windows up. Police was able to contact the vehicle’s owner via phone and advised him of the concern. (1:45pm)
  • A vacant house on Cunningham Street had water leaking out of it. Fire Department handled the situation. (4:38pm)
  • Security at the Registry of Motor Vehicles reported a road rage incident. (4:59pm)
  • Wilmington Fire Department, while responding to a medical emergency, reported a black Mitsubishi was tailgating them and passing other vehicles that were yielding. (6:13pm)
  • A Red Heat Tavern employee reported a man came in and ordered a beer. They felt he was intoxicated because he was staggering. Man left and got into a silver BMW. Police were unable to locate vehicle. (8:11pm)
  • A vehicle struck a deer on Salem Street. Deer ran off into the woods. (10:12pm)
  • A Boutwell Street caller reported someone smashed a pumpkin on his trash barrel and it broke the lid. (10:31pm)
  • Miracle Martin (27, Lowell) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. (11:34pm)
