Wilmington Residents Invited To Walk Your Dog To Fight Cancer

TEWKSBURY, MA — On Sunday, November 15th, the first Bark For Life will be held at the John F Ryan Elementary School in Tewksbury from 1-3 PM. Check-in is 12:30 PM. This American Cancer Society event recognizes the care giver qualities of the canines in your life.

The afternoon of fun starts with a walk and then continues with demonstrations, games, and contests. No matter who you are, there is a place for you at Bark For Life.  Even non dog owners can participate. Every dollar raised, every instance of sharing, and every moment of learning brings us closer to beating cancer.

“We are excited to have this opportunity to honor our canines,” says Julie Rauseo, Tewksbury resident and Relay For Life Community Manager.  Register at relayforlife.org/barktewksburyma.  All registered dogs will receive a Bark For Life bandana. For more information, contact Julie Rauseo at 781.314.2668 or julie.rauseo@cancer.org.
