POLICE LOG from October 26: Pothole In Construction Zone; Suspected Drug Activity

WILMINGTON, MA — 56 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, October 26, 2015.  Here are THIRTEEN highlights:

  • A black 2014 Ford F150 was given a written warning for failure to pull over for an emergency vehicle on Burlington Avenue. (6:05am)
  • A caller reported a railroad gate at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue was struck by a pickup truck. Pickup truck was gone on arrival. Railroad company arrived on scene to make repairs. (7:38am)
  • Missing juvenile from Milestone Group Home on High Street returned home. (8:40am)
  • Police assisted with school bus evacuation drills at the Wildwood and Boutwell. (8:51am, 8:57am)
  • A caller from Lahey Clinic on Concord Street reported an irate patient in the lobby that they would like removed from the property. Patient left prior to the officer’s arrival. Police checked area and were unable to locate. (11:40am)
  • Wilmington Police and Fire responded to an unspecified medical emergency at Wilmington Middle School. A patient was transported. (11:59am)
  • Police noted a pothole was forming in the construction zone on Middlesex Avenue. Police contacted DPW. (1:27pm)
  • A black and white cat was reported missing from Woburn Street. (2:37pm)
  • K9 Ridic responded to a SWAT Call in Lowell. (3:09pm)
  • A gray 2013 Nissan Sentra and a silver 2005 Toyota 4Runner were involved in a crash at Target on Ballardvale Street. No injuries noted. (3:56pm)
  • A resident requested extra patrols throughout the day due to speeding vehicles on Wildwood Street and Woburn Street. (4:41pm)
  • A Clorinda Road resident reported he hired a contractor from SDM Custom Finish Carpentry back in January. He wants it logged that the contractor cashed the check but failed to perform services. (4:42pm)
  • A caller wanted it logged that she believed she saw possible drug activity in a black 2005 Infinity FX at Sonny’s Mobile on the Run on Lowell Street approximately 30 minutes ago. Vehicle since left. (10:48pm)
