PHOTO OF THE DAY: Wilmington Fire Department Responds To House Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Fire Department responded to a house fire at 7 Pleasant Road around 2:25pm yesterday. With the assistance of Tewksbury and Billerica Fire Departments, the fire was knocked down. The fire significantly damaged the rear of the house and spread to its attic.  No injuries were reported as family members and pets were safely evacuated.

Just how rare is a house fire in Wilmington? According to last year’s Annual Town Report, the Wilmington Fire Department (thankfully) responded to just one house fire in town in 2014.
