POLICE LOG from October 25: 2 Saugus Women Arrested; Fire Dept. Handles Brush Fire At Boutwell

WILMINGTON, MA — 32 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Sunday, October 25, 2015.  Here are TEN highlights:

  • Police conducted fire lane enforcement at Market Basket. (12:39pm)
  • A deceased turkey was found in the roadway of Adams Street. (2:14pm)
  • Fire Department was called to cut off a ring. No details given. (3:41pm)
  • An unwanted intoxicated man was reported on Avalon Drive. Police drove the man to the station and helped him make arrangements for a ride home. (3:35pm)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported someone was in her house and stole items from her purse. (4:31pm)
  • Fire Department handled a brush fire in the woods behind the Boutwell School Field. (4:46pm)
  • Fire Department extinguished a smoldering stump on Middlesex Avenue. (5:13pm)
  • A juvenile from the Milestone Group Home on High Street was reported missing and entered into the National Crime Information Center. (8:39pm)
  • A caller reported vehicles were doing donuts in parking lot of UniFirst on Jospin Road. Vehicles were gone on arrival, but there was burnt rubber makings in the lot, indicating someone was there as reported. (9:20pm)
  • Christina Hatfield (61, Saugus) and Kerry O’Brien (41, Saugus) were arrested behind Salvation Army on Main Street for “attempting to commit a crime.” Their red 2002 Chrysler Vovager was towed. (9:36pm)
