Featured cookbook: The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook by Deb Perelman
If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this book group is for you. A new book that focuses on food will be featured every month. Stop by the library to pick up a copy, select a recipe and email your selection to book club leader Lisa Crispin (lcrispin@mvlc.org). Come to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes and enjoy the company!
Intro to the Cloud (R)

Come learn about that mysterious Cloud. Technology Librarian, Brad McKenna, will discuss such cloud based technologies as email, file storage, music/movie streaming.
Tea: The First Wicked Weed (R)

As the colonists moved toward independence, women made the choice to buy American-made goods in place of the English they had come to relish influencing their brothers and husbands in the process. Material culture had increasingly made women’s lives easier, the rejection of it led to Revolution, and most of the rhetoric centered on tea that wicked weed! Presented by local historian and novelist Dory Codington.

If you love to write and seek input and accountability, then join our writing group. Please bring up to five pages of written work to the meeting. Open to all genres and levels. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.
