TOWN NOTICE: Find Out The NEW Value Of Your Home; Average Single Family Value Increased By 3%

WILMINGTON, MA — The below notice was posted to the Town’s Website last week from Town Assessor Karen Rassias:

The Board of Assessors has received notification of Preliminary Certification from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue indicating that the Board has successfully completed the Fiscal Year 2016 Triennial Reassessment Program. Calendar year 2014 sales were used to establish FY16 property values. The average single family value increased by approximately three percent. Assessments should reflect market value as of January 1, 2015.

The assessed values for Fiscal Year 2016 (July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016) will be available for public inspection and review from October 22 to October 29 at the Office of the Board of Assessors, Wilmington Town Hall, during normal business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
