#1) The Town of Wilmington, the Catholic Community of Wilmington and South Tewksbury and several other organizations have partnered together to hold an importance substance abuse prevention event for parents, called “Navigating The Troubled Waters of Substance Abuse,” from 7pm to 8:30pm, at St. Thomas (126 Middlesex Avenue). #3) The Boutwell Parent Advisory Council is holding its monthly meeting at 9:30am at the Boutwell.
#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running “Mommy and Me Yoga” at 10am. Yoga may offer a child many benefits, such as a healthier body, the ability to control stress, increased self-esteem and greater concentration. #6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running “Music & More with Bernadette Baird” at 6:30pm. Bernadette Baird presents music and movement for toddlers and young children through age three. Sing, play musical instruments and dance. Ages 1-3. Learn more and register HERE.
#7) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.
