WILMINGTON, MA — 69 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, October 19, 2015. Here are SEVEN highlights:
- Manager at McDonald’s on Main Street found a man on the ground behind the restaurant’s dumpster. Wilmington Fire responded and transported the patient. (8:04am)
- Police notified there will be a large corporate tent set up over night in the parking lot of the Ristuccia Memorial Arena. Security will be on scene. The company will be doing some filming with the Bruins during the day. (8:46am)
- Police responded to an illegal burn on Lowell Street. The resident extinguished the fire. (12:10pm)
- Amherst Road caller reported a minor known to him drove a car onto his lawn and refused to move it. Minor also smashed two pumpkins. Police restored police. (2:18pm)
- Police noted kids taking rocks out of the “W” garden at the front of the student parking lot and throwing them around. Police was given the name of the kids involved and will follow up with them and have them clean up the debris in the morning. (4:23pm)
- A large amount of debris, including nails and screws, were reported in the roadway on Shawsheen Avenue. Police contacted DPW, who cleaned up the mess. Sweeper will re-clean in the morning. (7:30pm)
- A Woburn Street homeowner reported suspicious activity inside her house. Police checked the home with the owner. 2 crow bars, a blue computer wire, bucket and food among reportedly missing items. No signs of forced entry. (11:15pm)
