WILMINGTON, MA — 32 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Here are SEVEN highlights:
- A deceased small deer was reported on the side of the road on Church Street. Police moved the deer into the woods and contacted the Animal Control Officer for pick-up. (12:16am)
- Two mailboxes on West Street appeared to have been torn off their posts. (2:54am)
- A gray 2011 Toyota Corolla struck and killed a deer on Main Street. The vehicle’s windshield was smashed. (10:06am)
- A Lowell Street caller reported a deceased black and white can in front of her residence on the sidewalk. (12:57pm)
- A Dorothy Avenue caller reported a baby skunk walking around the roadway. Caller was concerned for skunk. Police gave caller phone numbers for Wilmington Wild Things and Fisheries & Wildlife. (12:59pm)
- Power outage in area of Woburn Street School caused the school’s fire alarm system to go on back-up power and for the its boiler to need to be resetl. (6:46pm)
- Police notified that a juvenile ran away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the child. (8:59pm) The missing child’s information was entered into the National Crime Information Center database. (11:39pm)
