WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce will present their annual ice sculpture at Wilmington’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, December 5 at the Town Common.
“This will be the 23rd year the Chamber has coordinated the ice sculpture demonstration,” writes Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Director Nancy Vallee. “The sculpture has become an integral part of the town’s celebration and is one of the main attractions – come watch 1,600 lbs. of ice take shape!”
Vallee is still determining the ice sculpture’s design and specifically requested to hear from Wilmington Apple readers!
Here’s Wilmington Apple’s Question of the Day for October 24: What would YOU like this year’s Ice Sculpture at the Wilmington Tree Lighting to look like?
Past designs have included a swan, a nutcracker, an angel, a sleigh, a penguin, the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, an elf, Bruins with the Stanley Cup, reindeer, and Red Sox Champions.
