WILMINGTON, MA — 86 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Thursday, October 15, 2015. Here are NINE highlights:
- 20 MPH signs were reported missing from Eames Street. (7:36am)
- Police issued a 10-day order of quarantine to a dog living at Metro at Wilmington Station on Burlington Avenue. (10:01am)
- A Salem Street resident reported a delivery truck pulled down a Verizon wire on Salem Street. The home’s shutter and vinyl siding was also damaged. (12:05pm)
- Animal Control Officer conducted more than a dozen barn visits across the town.
- A gray 2010 Honda Odyssey and a black Honda CRV were involved in a minor car crash at Main Street and Cross Street. (2:39pm)
- A disturbance between a bank manager and customer was reported at Citizens Bank on Main Street. Police was able to restore the police. The manager is considering no-trespassing the customer due to multiple past incidents. (3:43pm)
- MBTA reported a group of kids were on the tracks between the Shawsheen Avenue foot bridge and Bridge Lane. They appeared to be putting debris on the tracks. Police were unable to locate the kids. (5:30pm)
- A gray 2013 Mazda sideswipped a Verizon pole and damaged two mailboxes on Nichols Street. (9:38pm)
- A resident reported a woman known to her popped two of her car tires with a hypodermic needle. (10:17pm)
