WILMINGTON, MA — Are you ready to rock?
Wilmington’s 2015 Battle Between the Bands will be held this Saturday, October 24 at 7pm in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. The event is presented by the Wilmington High School Choral and Theatre Support Group (WHS CATS) and sponsored by the Wilmington Sons of Italy (Angelo Giuseppe Roncalli Lodge #2183).
This year’s battle will feature two bands — Endless Saturdays and 51st State. The winner will be selected by attendees’ majority vote. The event will also feature a special appearance by Wilmington High School’s ‘One Minute Too Many’ improv group.
Tickets cost $10 at the door. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the W.H.S. CATS Scholarship and supplemental production and materials fund.
According to the group’s website, “WHS C.A.T.S. is a parent run organization providing on-going support for the Wilmington High School Choral and Theatre groups. Our mission is to provide annual scholarship opportunities for college and military bound Wilmington High School students and to provide supplementary funding for the purchase of production equipment and materials.”
