POLICE LOG from October 13: “Get Out Of Hell Free” Card; 3 Car Crashes; Lost & Found Street Signs

WILMINGTON, MA — 48 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.  Here are ELEVEN highlights:

  • Street sign for Nottingham Drive was noted missing. DPW was contacted. (3:32am)
  • A white 2013 Honda Pilot, a black 2004 Toyota Sequoia, and a gray 2002 Ford Taurus were involved in a car crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. (7:44am)
  • A Ballardvale Street caller reported a tree company vehicle was parked on his property while doing work at 32 Ballardvale Street. Vehicle was moved. (8:43am)
  • Police conducted fire lane enforcement at Market Basket. (12:46pm)
  • A white 2014 Infinity QX50 and black 2013 Dodge Durango were involved in a minor car crash at the 93 Northbound Ramp and Route 62. (3:30pm)
  • A walk-in party from Auburn Avenue reported she received a strange piece of mail with a “get out of Hell free” card with a fraudulent return address.  She said other residents in the area received it as well. (3:35pm)
  • A black 2001 Honda Accord and a gray 2005 Chevy Silverado were involved in a car crash on Shawsheen Avenue, with parties now arguing in the Shawsheen School parking lot. Police noticed little to no damage, and assisted with paperwork exchange. (5:34pm)
  • Street sign for Wild Avenue was located by the fieldhouse at the Shawsheen School. (6:01pm)
  • Andover Street resident requested extra patrols in the morning (around 5am) due to trucks blocking roadway and causing a traffic hazard. (6:18pm)
  • A man approached a woman in her vehicle at Dunkin Donuts on Main Street, yelling and sweaering at her through the window. Police located the man at Entreprise Rental on Main Street, requesting the Fire Department transport the man, who appeared intoxicated and was claiming abdominal pain. Caller was concerned with the man’s behavior, but does not want to pursue the matter further. (10:12pm)
  • A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. The juvenile was already listed as missing by the Malden Police Department and Framingham Police Department. (11:59pm)
