WILMINGTON, MA — The First Annual Boo Bakes for Breast Cancer, held last Saturday, October 17 in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria, raised nearly $1,888 for breast cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Organizer Courtney Hadden reminds residents that there’s still time to donate and help the effort reach its $2,000 goal. Online donations can be made HERE.
Guests of all ages enjoyed face painting, pumpkin painting, games, treats, and fun!
More than 45 different types of peanut-free baked goods were sold. Leftover baked goods were donated to the House of Hope, a homeless shelter in Lowell.
