Registration begins 30 days prior to the event. Please register online using our Calendar of Events at www.wilmlibrary.org or by calling (978) 694-2099 (for Adult) or (978) 694-2098 (for Children/Teen). Please note we request registration for programs that are marked (RR). Thank you to the Friends of the Library for funding support for library programs!
Adult Events
Shredding Day
Saturday, October 24, 9am-11am
The library will host another Shredding Day on Saturday, October 24 from 9am to 11am in the Wildwood Street parking lot. Please note the shredding is meant for households not for businesses. The library reserves the right to limit quantity if necessary. Paper clips, rubberbands, and staples do not have to be removed. Free to the public; funded by the Friends of the Library.

Are you ready for some spooky science? Step into the shoes of a mad scientist as you conduct frighteningly spectacular experiments! Ages 3-5.
Introducing Zoey the Library Labrador
Monday, October 19, 6:30-7:30pm
Sign up to read to Zoey, the Library Labrador. Zoey is a great listener who loves to have children of all ages to read to her and improve their reading skills. Please call the Children’s Department at 978-694-2098 to sign up for a 15 minute session.
Mommy and Me Yoga (RR)
Tuesday, October 20, 10am
Yoga may offer a child many benefits, such as a healthier body, the ability to control stress, increased self-esteem and greater concentration. Come relax, stretch, and have fun while bonding with your child! Ages 3-5.
College Financial Aid Workshop for Teens and Parents (RR)
Tuesday, October 20, 7pm
This free workshop will address the financial aid process, necessary paperwork, and various strategies for paying for college. Teens and their parents are welcome to attend. Our presenter is James Femia, a Certified College Planning Specialist with the National Institute of Certified College Planners.
Star Mag

Drop-in to help create this magazine written by, for and about kids, and published by the library. Bring in finished original artwork, puzzles, poems, comics, jokes, or create it while you are here. Grades 4-8.
Not Very Scary Stories (RR)

Storyteller and musician John Porcino will present some of his most beloved seasonal and spooktacular tales and songs for families just in time for Halloween! Ages 3+.
Mini Monets (RR)

Children learn to express their creativity, practice fine motor skills, and experiment through art. Join us as we discover our inner artists through creative play! Ages 18 months-2.
MCBA Book Club (RR)

This book discussion group will read books nominated for the Massachusetts Children’s Book Award. This month’s selection is Wings of Fire: The Dragonet Prophecy by T.T. Sutherland. Grades 4-6.
