Wilmington Senior Center To Offer 6-Week ‘Tools For Caregivers’ Workshop

WILMINGTON, MA – Caring for a love one is easier when you have support. Starting in November, the Department of Elderly Services will be offering a FREE workshop designed to help caregivers who are caring for a relative, friend, or someone else in their life with a chronic illness such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s.

“Powerful Tools For Caregivers” is a six week program that will help provide the caregiver with the skills needed to take care of themselves.

There will be an information session on Monday, October 19 at 10:30am at the Senior Center.

Please register by contacting Laura Pickett at lpickett@wilmingtonma.gov or by calling 978-657-7595.

This program is funded, in part, through Tufts Health Plan Foundation and Minuteman Senior Services.
