WILMINGTON, MA – The Senior Property Tax Work Program enables elders 60 years and older, with low to moderate income, the opportunity to work off a portion of their property tax by working part-time for the Town. These positions can be found in the various school and municipal departments.
Eligible candidates will meet the following qualifications:
- 60 years of age or older
- Homeowner or current spouse
- Resident of Wilmington
- Occupy the property for which taxes are paid
- Limited financial resources
Qualified applicants will be interviewed by Department Head upon referral.
Applications are currently available at the Town Hall and the Senior Center.
