WILMINGTON, MA — 47 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Here are SIX highlights:
- A caller reported a brown 2002 Mitsubishi Galant struck Mr. Ticket on Lowell Street and thenfled down West Street toward Reading. Wilmington Police notified Reading Police, Woburn Police, State Police, and Town Building Inspector. Owner was contacted and was out of state. A&Z Emergency Services arrived and was given permission by owner to board up the building. (12:13am)
- A blue 2001 GMC Jimmy, a gray 2006 Toyota Corolla, and a black 2005 Volvo S60 were involved in a car crash at the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue. No injuries reported. (8:50am)
- Police conducted a well-being check on a man that did not show up for National Guard Duty. Police was advised man was incarcerated. Police advised National Guard. (3:57pm)
- Police assisted driver with a tire change on Beacon Street. (8:44pm)
- A caller reported a man and woman were fighting on the side of the road at Lowell Street and Darmouth Avenue. (10:38pm)
- A caller struck a raccoon on Shawsheen Avenue. The animal was still alive in the roadway. Caller transported the raccoon to MSPCA for euthanization. (11:25pm)
