WILMINGTON, MA — This Thursday night, the Boston Bruins open their regular season against the Winnipeg Jets at the Boston Garden.
And on Friday, according to the team’s website, the B’s have a public practice scheduled for Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington at 11:30am. (Please note that the team’s practice schedule is subject to change.)
With Wilmington Schools closed for a Professional Development Day on Friday, this practice provides Wilmington’s young Bruins fans with an opportunity to see some of their favorite players up close and personal.
The Bruins, who have practiced at Ristuccia Memorial Arena in Wilmington since 1987, will be leaving town following the upcoming 2015-2016 season. The team will be moving in to a brand new, state-of-the-art practice facility called “Warrior Ice Arena” at Boston Landing in Brighton-Allston.
