POLICE LOG from September 28: Complaints Over Neighbors, Dogs & Skunks

WILMINGTON, MA — 89 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Monday, September 28.  Here are NINE highlights:

  • Across from 421A Andover Street, approximately 17 truck tires have been dumped on private property. (9:16am)
  • A caller reported sometime over the weekend, his company vehicle was broken into on Ballardvale Street. (10:18am)
  • Mayra R. Miranda (56, Haverhill) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (1:00pm)
  • A blue 2011 Honda Civic and a yellow 2004 Ford F150 were involved in a motor vehicle crash at Church Street and Clark Street. No injuries reported. (1:04pm)
  • Driver of a black 2003 GMC Envoy reported she possibly struck another vehicle near the Shawsheen Elementary School. There was damage to her side mirror. (3:19pm)
  • A Marcia Road caller reported a man operating a motorcycle that was pulling another man on skates up and down the roadway. Men were gone upon police arrival. (5:21pm)
  • A Wing Road resident requested a call back from the Animal Control Officer regarding a neighborhood dog that is constantly loose. (6:53pm)
  • A Lake Street caller reported his neighbor was building a house and the compressor was very loud and running late at night. Police visited the home. The noise was low and didn’t seem to be unreasonable. (8:42pm)
  • A Main Street caller notified police that there was an injured skunk in their backyard. Police were unable to safely euthanize the skunk, which was underneath an enclosed deck area. Caller was advised to contact commercial animal control. (11:04pm)
