WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Girls Travel Basketball is an independent, non-profit program for girls in grades 4 through 8.
Tryout dates have been scheduled at Wilmington Middle School and are as follows:
Grades 4 & 5:
Wednesday, September 30, 6:30pm — 8pm (mistakenly had 6pm-7:30pm, corrected 9/29)
Wednesday, October 7, 6:30pm — 8pm (mistakenly had 6pm-7:30pm, corrected 9/29)
Grade 6:
Tuesday, September 29, 6:30pm — 8pm
Tuesday, October 6, 6:30pm — 8pm
Grade 7:
Tuesday, September 29, 8pm — 9:30pm
Tuesday, October 6, 8pm — 9:30pm
Grade 8:
Wednesday, September 30, 8pm — 9:30pm
Wednesday, October 7, 8pm — 9:30pm
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for sign in.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Wilmington resident or attend a Wilmington school.
- Athlete’s current grade is the same as the grade she is trying out for. (*Only Age Exception: Athlete’s under 4th grade will try out for a 4th grade team)
- Must attend at least one tryout (age related) or explain to director in writing why it is not possible to do so.
Commitment Expectations:
- Practice will be one or two nights a week and Home games are played on Sundays.
- Approximately 25 game schedule.
- $250 fee per player.
