Eric D. Steeves, Sr., age 46, of Wilmington, died peacefully on September 14, 2015.
Eric was the beloved husband of Tammy M. (Oliveira) Steeves, devoted father of Eric D. Jr., Zachary D., and Megan A. Steeves all of Wilmington. Dear son of Shirley Slack of Reading and the late David Steeves, brother of Leslie Bailey & her husband Graham of North Reading, Amy Sweeney & her husband Daniel Faucon of Reading, and Patrick Sweeney & his wife Dominique of Cleveland, OH. Loving Uncle of Justin, Tyler, Kate, Vincent, and Michaela. Son-in-law of Patricia and the late Tom Ciampa of Andover and George Oliveira Jr. of East Boston. Brother-in-law of George Oliveira III of Everett. Eric is also survived by a large extended family and many dear friends.
Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Friday, September 18th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 12:00 noon. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, September 17th from 5:00-9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the Steeves’ Children Educational Fund at Citizens Bank, c/o Tammy Steeves, 14A Hobson Ave., Wilmington, MA 01887.
