WILMINGTON, MA — 85 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Tuesday, September 8. Here are SEVEN highlights:
- A vehicle was parked unattended for multiple days at the Town Park on Main Street. The police contacted the Woburn Police Department, asking them to contact the owner, a Woburn resident. Woburn Police was unable to make contact. (7:16am)
- A Main Street caller requested to speak with the Animal Control Officer regarding a baby squirrel that is in their garage. (9:10am)
- A dog was left in a UHaul van on Main Street. Police advised the owner. (4:35pm)
- A blue 2010 Chevy HHR struck a pedestrian in front of Market Basket. No injuries noted. (4:44pm)
- Andrew Camillieri (21, Wilmington) was issued a summons for the malicious destruction of property valued at over $250. Camilleri allegedly smashed a car window with his fist during an argument in the parking lot of 99 Restaurant on Lowell Street. (5:25pm)
- A missing child returned from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (8:56pm)
- A Harold Avenue caller reported people were setting up camp in the woods behind his home for the evening. Police spoke with the individuals and sent them on their way. (10:11pm)
