Family and friends of Sean Collier will be walking the Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, September 27. Team Collier is hoping to raise $25,000 in Collier’s honor. (Learn more HERE.)
On Sunday, September 20, from 4pm to 6pm, the group is hosting a fundraiser at the Cambridge Brewery Company (1 Kendall Square, Cambridge).
According to the event’s Facebook page:
Join us as we spend a little time with the Red Sox World Series trophy and raise money for a great cause! For a minimum requested donation of $10 per person, you can have your picture taken with the trophy and 100% of your donation will go to the critical work of the Jimmy Fund in memory of Officer Sean Collier, a longtime supporter. So, put on your favorite Red Sox gear, pose for your next Facebook profile pic, and raise a glass with us to Sean, the Sox, and the Jimmy Fund!
