WILMINGTON, MA — 92 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Friday, September 4. Here are TEN highlights:
- A Castle Drive caller reported their mailbox was damaged sometime overnight. (7:23am)
- A Main Street caller reported a blue 2012 Chevy Silverado drover over their lawn, causing damage. (7:35am)
- Darlene M. Frasca (60, Woburn) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage; and the failure to yield at an intersection. Frasca was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Main Street. (11:25am)
- A caller reported a hit and run about five minutes ago at his mother-in-law’s residence on Middlesex Avenue. (11:51am)
- Police were advised of a fight to occur at Planet Fitness on Middlesex Avenue. Police responded and found nothing out of the ordinary. (12:49pm)
- Caller from Milestone Group Home on High Street reported a boy walked away from their institution approximately 20-25 minutes ago. BOLO was given to police cars and the caller was advised to respond to station to file a missing person’s report. A second call from the Group Home came in saying a second boy walked away. Again, a BOLO was issued and a request to file a missing person’s request was advised. (2:27pm) Juveniles later returned to the home. (9:29pm)
- A caller reported someone untied the barrier rope at the Town Beach and threw it into the water. Police contacted the Recreation Department and DPW. (2:48pm)
- A 2-car motor vehicle accident, involving a postal truck, occurred on Middlesex Avenue at Shady Lane Drive. No injuries reported. (4:33pm)
- A Glen Road resident reported he received a scam telephone call from Verizon. He did not provide any personal information other than a place of birth. He wanted the incident logged. (7:00pm)
- An employee of Sonic at Main Street reported an intoxicated man inside the restaurant. The man refused any treatment from the Fire Department. He was transported to a Brand Avenue home. (11:28am)
