WILMINGTON, MA — 41 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Sunday, August 30. Here are NINE highlights:
- A Sonic employee reported a disturbance in a vehicle at the restaurant. The disturbance was verbal in nature. The passenger was picked up by a friend. (1:38am)
- The Fire Department responded to a fire on Forest Street. Police assisted with traffic control. (7:03am)
- A Columbia Street caller reported it appeared somtime yesterday someone ripped the screen off a window, but it does not appear entry was gained. (10:17am)
- A March Road resident reported he left his garage door open overnight last night and it appeared someone rummaged through his garage and vehicle. A 36-pack of beer was taken from a fridge. Nothing else seemed to taken or damage. (11:33am)
- A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. No further details noted. (12:08pm)
- Gramsci J. Guzman (31, Lawrence) was issued a summons for an uninsured motor vehicle, an unregistered motor vehicle, and a license plate violation. The vehicle had been abandon in a lot on Ballardvale Street for awhile. (12:10pm)
- A man was acting erratically, sitting in the middle of Lawrence Street. Police requested the Fire Department for an evaluation. The man refused treatment and returned home to his mother. (4:46pm)
- A caller reported she was walking with her six year-old daughter on Boutwell Street and someone in a dark blue Jeep Cherokee threw a plastic bottle out of the vehicle, nearly striking her daughter. (7:23pm)
- Ian Patrick Burns (24, Billerica) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. (8:47pm)
