WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Community Television held its First Annual Family Fun Day last Sunday, August 30, from 1pm to 4pm, at WCTV Headquarters.
The free family-friendly event featured performances from Wilmington dancers; DJ/music; Mr. Balloon Magic Wizard; face painting; raffles/giveaways; studio tours; commemorative photos; and complimentary hot dogs, pizza, popcorn and sno cones.
“We had a tremendous turnout,” said WCTV Executive Director Steve Innis. “Over 200 people attended!”
Innis noted that staff gave more than 60 small tours of the studio; signed up 16 new members; and gave away 80 commemorative photos.
Innis and his staff are already looking forward to next summer’s Family Fun Day!
